Groups of Missionary Children around the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, including the PREP students at St. Robert Bellarmine in Warrington, and students at Our Lady of Mercy School in Maple Glen and Mary, Mother of the Redeemer School in North Wales, gave their time and talent to make rosaries for children in the Missions. These rosaries have traveled to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Micronesia, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, as well as Malawi, Kenya, and other countries in Africa
Stephen Lippincott (left), a member of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish in Warrington, led the students in the Parish Religious Education Program at his parish in making World Mission Rosaries for the Missions as part of his Eagle Scout project. In December 2013, Stephen coordinated rosary-making efforts after Sunday Masses at his parish and St. Joseph in Warrington.
In April, older PREP students helped the younger children make rosaries at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish. Maureen Rilling, Archdiocesan Missionary Childhood Association Coordinator, led the children in praying a decade of the World Mission Rosary and shared video from an MCA-funded school in Malawi.
